The Opportunity

Hitachi Energy is looking for a Global Capability Owner (GCO) – Global Archetype Controlling to lead the end-to-end delivery, governance, and transformation of controlling activities across countries, business units, and Controlling Capability Centers globally. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring consistent execution, high-quality service delivery, and alignment with global finance standards while driving standardization, scalability, and continuous improvement across the controlling organization.

You will lead a globally distributed team across capability hubs in Bangalore, San Luis Potosí, Xiamen, and Krakow, with Archetype Leads reporting directly into the role. As a key partner to Business Units, Regions, and CP&O;, you will help shape the future operating model through process harmonization,



digital transformation, and enhanced business partnering capabilities.

How You'll Make an Impact
- Define, govern, and continuously evolve the global archetype controlling model, driving harmonization, standardization, and alignment with business and finance strategies across regions and business units.
- Lead the delivery of controlling services across global Controlling Capability Centers, ensuring consistent execution, service excellence, adherence to standards, and effective demand and capacity management.
- Establish and maintain standardized controlling processes, service catalogues, and transparent ownership models while optimizing activities to improve efficiency, scalability, and transparency.
- Act as the primary interface between Capability Centers, Business Units, Regions, BU CFOs, Hub Controllers, Local Controllers, and other stakeholders, enabling strong business partnering and effective deci
