Position: Mechanical Trainee

Job Summary

The Mechanical Trainee will assist in the execution and monitoring of ongoing mechanical and civil projects within the plant. The role involves maintaining project documentation, coordinating with contractors and internal teams, tracking project progress, and ensuring the availability of engineering materials through productive store management. This position provides hands-on exposure to project execution, maintenance activities, and engineering store operations.

Key ResponsibilitiesProject Coordination & Execution
- Support the execution and monitoring of ongoing mechanical and civil projects in the plant.
- Assist in planning, scheduling, and tracking project activities to ensure timely completion.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal departments for smooth project execution.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor project progress and compliance with safety standards.
- Assist in preparing project reports,



status updates, and progress documentation.

Documentation & Record Management
- Maintain and update all project-related documents, including work orders, drawings, reports, invoices, and completion records.
- Ensure proper filing and archiving of project documents for future reference and audits.
- Track material consumption, project costs, and project completion records.
- Prepare and maintain MIS reports and other project-related records as required.

Engineering Store Management
- Manage engineering store inventory, including receipt, storage, and issuance of materials.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate procurement of required materials and spare parts.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper stock reconciliation.
- Ensure availability of materials required for maintenance and project activities.
- Assist in conducting periodic stock verification and inventory audits.
