About the Role

We are looking for a Purchase / Procurement Executive with solid hands-on experience in machined components, bought-out parts, vendor development, sourcing, costing, and commercial negotiation.

The candidate will be responsible for sourcing and procurement of CNC/VMC machined components, turned components, fabricated parts, castings, forgings, fasteners, standard components, and other engineering/bought-out parts required for manufacturing.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, machining capabilities, component drawings/specifications, supplier capacity, costing, lead times, quality requirements, and vendor development.

Key Responsibilities

1. Machined Components & Bought-Out Parts Procurement

Handle end-to-end procurement of machined and bought-out components.





Source components as per engineering drawings, specifications, BOMs and purchase requirements.

Procure CNC/VMC machined components, turned components, fabricated components, castings, forgings, fasteners, bearings, gears, shafts and standard engineering items.

Understand component specifications, material grades, tolerances, quantities and delivery requirements.

Identify suitable suppliers based on machine capability, manufacturing capacity, quality, cost and delivery capability.

Ensure timely availability of components as per production schedules.

2. Vendor Development & New Supplier Identification

Identify and develop new vendors for machined and bought-out components.

Conduct supplier searches based on component type, material, process and required manufacturing capability.

Evaluate suppliers for:

CNC/VMC capacity

Turning capacity

Milling capability

Grinding

Fabrication

Casting

Forging

Heat treatment
