Primary purpose of the role

The Application Executive is responsible for supporting the design, development, and execution of application methods for analytical instruments, with a focus on spectrometers such as Metal OES & RDE-OES. This role includes implementing and optimizing analytical methods, configuring instrument parameters, and ensuring accurate and reliable performance.

The Application Executive will work closely with senior application scientists, service teams, and production team to apply standard and customized solutions that meet client requirements and industry standards. This position also involves providing application support, conducting product demonstrations, and assisting in technical training.

Major responsibilities

Application and Logic Development:
- Assist in the development and refinement of applications for Metal & RDE OES.
- Support the implementation of current logic, calibration routines, and parameters to improve instrument accuracy and performance.

Design and Development of Analytical Instruments:




- Participate in the testing and evaluation of new instrument designs, contributing insights from application performance.
- Perform daily analysis of diverse sample types to validate and improve application outcomes.

Application Project Management:
- Contribute to application development projects including ASTM-standard methods, application notes, and large-scale data analyses.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely progress and accurate documentation of application testing results.

Quantitative and Qualitative Analysis:
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis on metal and oil samples to support method development.
- Assist in the development and validation of analytical methods such as Standardisation, Auto-Cal, TRS, and linear regression.

Cross-Functional Coordination and Troubleshooting:
- Work closely with service, production, and R&D; teams to resolve application issues and support product improvement efforts.
