Job Overview

Summary/Objective:

The Purchase Engineer shall work on day-to-day purchase activity with continued efforts to explore in recent suppliers, assess current suppliers and strong negotiation skills.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies that align with company goals.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers to diversify our product offerings.
- Negotiate terms with suppliers to secure the best pricing, quality, and delivery timelines.
- Manage and monitor supplier performance, addressing any issues related to quality, delivery, or compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including logistics,



finance and sales, to ensure alignment on sourcing needs.
- Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends for competitive sourcing.
- Maintain accurate records of supplier agreements, contracts, and performance data.
- Prepare regular reports on sourcing metrics and identify opportunities for process improvements.

Qualifications
- B.E. Mechanical Engineer OR Strong Purchasing Experience in Mechanical based industry
- 5+ years of proven experience
- Familiar with ERP, MS Office
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
