Roles and Responsibilities:
* Storage Management: Design, configure, and maintain SAN/NAS storage systems, including provisioning, data migration, and zoning.
* Server Administration: Install, maintain, and upgrade physical and virtual servers (VMware, Linux, Windows).
* Network & Connectivity: Configure and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and storage network connectivity (FC/iSCSI).
* Data Protection: Perform backups, restore operations, and manage disaster recovery processes to ensure data integrity.
* Monitoring & Optimization: Proactively monitor system performance, capacity, and security, implementing improvements to avoid bottlenecks.
* Documentation: Maintain up-to-date documentation for server, network, and storage configurations.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
* Education:



Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
* Experience: 1+ years in server administration and storage engineering.
* Storage Technologies: Proficiency with SAN/NAS, FC Switches (e.g., Cisco MDS, Brocade), and storage vendors like EMC/Dell, NetApp, or Pure Storage.
* Virtualization & OS: Expert-level knowledge of VMware ESXi, Windows Server, and Linux.
* Networking: Strong understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, and routing.
