Key Responsibilities
- Identify underprivileged neighborhoods/communities where supplementary education is needed
- Scout and finalize suitable locations for classes (community halls, schools, or other spaces)
- Source and onboard qualified teachers/volunteers for the program
- Meet and counsel parents to enroll their children; build trust with the local community
- Conduct door-to-door outreach and community meetings to spread awareness
- Coordinate with local leaders, schools, and stakeholders for smooth program rollout
- Maintain records of students, teachers, and attendance
- Report progress, challenges, and feedback to the program manager regularly
- Troubleshoot on-ground issues (attendance drops, space/logistics problems, etc.)
Requirements
- Prior experience in community outreach, field work, social work, or NGO programs preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable talking to strangers and parents from diverse backgrounds
- Fluency in Marathi and Hindi
- Willingness to travel extensively within the field area
- Basic reporting skills (can maintain straightforward records/data)
- Passion for education and social impact
- Preferably Marathi
Pay: Up to ₹25,000.00 per month
