Job Title: Team Lead Collections

Location: Pune

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Team Lead Collections to manage a team of collection executives responsible for driving recoveries, minimizing delinquencies, and ensuring adherence to collection policies and regulatory guidelines. The ideal candidate should have solid people management skills, a data-driven approach, and experience in collections within Banking, NBFC, FinTech, or BPO environments.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of Collection Executives to achieve monthly recovery and resolution targets.
- Monitor daily collection activities, productivity, and portfolio performance.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching sessions, and feedback discussions.
- Ensure timely follow-up on delinquent accounts through calls and other approved collection channels.
- Track key collection metrics such as PTP, RPC, roll rates, recovery %, and delinquency buckets.




- Handle escalated customer cases and ensure resolution within defined timelines.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and collection guidelines.
- Analyze collection trends and identify opportunities to improve team performance.
- Coordinate with Operations, Quality, Training, and other stakeholders to drive process improvements.
- Prepare and share daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports with management.

Eligibility Criteria
- Graduate in any discipline.
- 48 years of experience in Collections, Recoveries, or Debt Management.
- Minimum 2 years of experience managing a collections team.
- Experience in Personal Loans, Credit Cards, Consumer Finance, BNPL, or other retail lending products.
- Strong understanding of collection strategies, delinquency management, and recovery processes.
- Good analytical, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MIS reporting.
