About the Role

KSKT AgroMart Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Fruits & Vegetables Procurement Manager to manage the sourcing and procurement of fresh fruits and vegetables.

The person will be responsible for finding reliable suppliers, farmers, FPOs, aggregators and mandi sources, negotiating prices, ensuring product quality, managing procurement costs and ensuring timely supply to the company's Distribution Centre.

This is a hands-on procurement role requiring strong market knowledge, supplier relationships and negotiation skills.

Key Responsibilities
- Source fruits and vegetables from mandis, FPOs, farmers, aggregators and other reliable suppliers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with farmers, FPOs and suppliers.
- Monitor daily market prices and negotiate competitive purchase rates.




- Plan procurement based on daily and weekly demand requirements.
- Ensure timely and continuous supply of fresh produce to the Distribution Centre.
- Identify alternate suppliers and sourcing locations to maintain supply during seasonal or market fluctuations.
- Check product quality, grading and acceptance standards at the time of procurement and inward.
- Coordinate with DC and operations teams to reduce rejection, wastage, ageing and spoilage.
- Calculate and monitor landed procurement costs, including purchase price, transportation, packaging, grading and other related costs.
- Track procurement prices, volumes, supplier performance and quality.
- Identify cost and margin risks and take corrective procurement actions.
- Develop direct sourcing opportunities with farmers and FPOs.
- Support seasonal procurement planning based on crop availability and market conditions.
