About the Role
Soul & Scents is looking for an exceptionally strong Content Writer / Brand Copywriter who can shape how the brand speaks across every customer touchpoint.
This role is not for someone who only writes blogs or generic social media captions. We are looking for someone who understands brand communication, consumer psychology and marketing, and can turn a brief into sharp, engaging and commercially effective copy.
The ideal candidate should be equally comfortable writing a 3-word ad headline, an Instagram campaign, a product story, website copy or a detailed brand communication piece.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and maintain the brand tone of voice across communication channels.
- Write compelling Meta and Google ad copies, headlines, hooks, CTAs and campaign messaging.
- Develop copy for social media posts, reels, stories and campaigns.
- Write website content, landing pages, banners and promotional communication.
- Create Amazon and marketplace content, including product titles, bullets, descriptions, A+ content and brand stories.
- Write product descriptions and fragrance stories that are engaging without sounding repetitive or generic.
- Develop copy for packaging, catalogues, brochures, exhibitions and corporate gifting material.
- Conceptualise campaign ideas, taglines, hooks and communication themes alongside the marketing and design teams.
- Write email marketing and WhatsApp marketing communication for B2C and B2B audiences.
- Adapt one campaign idea into different formats while maintaining a consistent message.
- Understand campaign objectives and write differently for awareness, consideration and conversion.
- Work closely with graphic designers and performance marketing teams to develop creatives that combine solid visuals with strong copy.
- Edit and proofread all communication for grammar
