Role Description
The Food Technologist will work full time on-site in Pune City, supporting the development and optimization of HAPPIKERY’s gravy and related products. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting laboratory tests, performing sensory evaluations, and contributing to product formulation and improvement. The role involves collaborating with R&D; and production teams to ensure product consistency, safety, and quality standards are met. The Food Technologist will also support quality control processes, document findings,



and help implement best practices in manufacturing and packaging.

Qualifications
- Solid foundation in Food Technology and understanding of food science principles
- Hands-on Laboratory Skills and experience with food analysis and testing methods
- Proficiency in Sensory Evaluation techniques for assessing flavor, texture, and overall product acceptability
- Experience in Quality Control procedures, food safety standards, and regulatory compliance
- Background in Research and Development (R&D;) for new product development and process optimization
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Food Technology, Food Science, or a closely related discipline
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate findings clearly
- Attention to detail, strong record-keeping skills, and a focus on continuous improvement
- Experience in sauce, gravy, or convenience food manufacturing is an advantage
