Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Chess Coach to train students from beginner to advanced levels and help them improve their chess skills, confidence, and tournament performance.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging chess classes for students.
- Teach chess fundamentals, tactics, strategies, openings, middlegame and endgame concepts.
- Prepare structured lesson plans according to students' playing levels.
- Analyze students' games and provide constructive feedback.
- Track students' progress and help them achieve their chess goals.
- Prepare students for school, district, state and national-level tournaments.
- Conduct practice games, puzzles, assessments and chess workshops.
- Maintain a disciplined, positive and motivating learning environment.




- Communicate students' progress effectively with parents and management.

Requirements
- Robust knowledge of chess and ability to teach students effectively.
- Previous chess coaching/teaching experience preferred.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle both individual and group classes.
- Competitive chess experience/FIDE rating will be an advantage.
- Passion for working with children and young learners.
- Candidates with tournament experience and a proven coaching record will be preferred.

Compensation

₹50,000 per month

Location: Bangalore
