Job Purpose

Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting in line with organizational policies and applicable accounting standards. The role is responsible for financial closure, balance sheet integrity, audit and internal financial control management, budgeting and forecasting, cost governance, and management reporting to support informed business decisions and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Closing & Balance Sheet Integrity
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial book closures within defined timelines.
- Review the Trial Balance and analyse significant variances against prior periods, forecasts, and the Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial reporting and closing packs.
- Prepare and review reconciliations, schedules, supporting documents, and ageing analysis for balance sheet General Ledger accounts.
- Maintain complete documentation and audit-ready supporting records.
- Provide accurate inputs for Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet schedules, and quarterly notes to accounts.

2. Audit,



Assurance & Internal Financial Controls
- Coordinate statutory, concurrent, and internal audits and ensure timely submission of required schedules and documentation.
- Respond to audit queries and coordinate with relevant stakeholders for timely resolution.
- Implement and monitor Internal Financial Controls (IFC), including monthly control declarations and sample-based reviews.
- Monitor Internal Audit scores and ensure timely closure of high-risk observations.
- Drive compliance with IFC requirements with the objective of maintaining zero high-risk audit observations.

3. Budgeting, Forecasting & AOP Support
- Monitor Circle Opex and Capex against the approved Annual Operating Plan.
- Perform monthly forecasting and variance analysis against AOP, latest forecasts, and prior periods.
