About the Role:- We're looking for a detail-oriented, proactive accounting professional with hands-on UK accounting experience to join our team. You'll prepare statutory accounts, review financial records, ensure compliance with UK GAAP, and support tax-related work for a portfolio of UK-based clients with exposure to multiple industries and entity types in a rapid-paced outsourcing environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and finalize year-end accounts for UK Limited Companies, LLPs, Partnerships, and Sole Traders
- Review trial balances and post year-end adjustments (accruals, prepayments, depreciation, provisions)
- Prepare supporting schedules, lead sheets, and working papers for statutory accounts
- Draft financial statements in line with UK GAAP (FRS 102, FRS 102 1A, and FRS 105)
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances
- Assist with Corporation Tax computations and CT600 return preparation
- Ensure compliance with HMRC and Companies House filing requirements
- Liaise with clients and stakeholders to gather information and resolve queries




- Support managers through the review process and meet client deliverable deadlines
- Maintain accurate documentation and support process improvement initiatives
- Assist with ad-hoc reporting and audit support assignments

Required Qualifications

Education
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field
- ACCA (part-qualified/pursuing), ACA, ICAEW, or equivalent an added advantage

Experience
- 2–3 years' relevant experience in UK accounting and year-end accounts preparation
- Prior experience in an accounting outsourcing firm, CA firm, shared service centre, or UK practice preferred

Technical Skills
- Strong grounding in UK accounting principles and statutory reporting
- Working knowledge of accounts finalization under UK GAAP
- Familiarity with Corporation Tax principles and HMRC compliance
- Hands-on experience with: Xero, QuickBooks Online, Sage, IRIS, CCH, TaxCalc
