Role & responsibilities
- System Architecture: Design and build scalable, secure, and resilient backend systems in Python.
- Team Leadership & Mentorship: Lead, mentor, and guide a team of 48 engineers through code reviews, technical grooming, and pair programming.
- Code Quality: Write clean production code, set coding standards, and implement automated testing discipline.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with product managers and business teams to convert functional requirements into technical blueprints.
- Delivery & Operations: Own sprint estimations, planning, CI/CD pipelines, and overall production system stability.

Preferred candidate profile
- Python Frameworks: Hands-on mastery of Django, FastAPI, or Flask.
- API & Database Management: Robust expertise in RESTful APIs, relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL), and ORMs (SQLAlchemy, Django ORM).
- Core Fundamentals: Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design patterns, and distributed system design.
- Cloud & DevOps:



Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Leadership Experience: Proven track record of directly leading, mentoring, or managing engineering teams.

Nice-to-Have Skills
- Async & Event-Driven Systems: Hands-on experience with asynchronous programming (asyncio) and message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Celery).
- AI/LLM Integration: Exposure to AI/ML pipelines, LangChain, or integrating LLM-driven backend services.
- Modern Architectures: Familiarity with microservices architecture and event-driven patterns.

Key Requirements & Education
- Experience: 8 to 10 years of overall software development experience, with at least 5 years dedicated to core Python development.
- Education: B.E./B.Tech/M.C.A./M.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
