Roles & Responsibilities
- Design core boxes for GDC/LPDC aluminium casting applications.
- Develop core box concepts based on component and casting requirements.
- Ensure dimensional accuracy, parting, venting and core removal feasibility.
- Prepare 2D/3D models and detailed manufacturing drawings.
- Coordinate with Tool Room and Foundry/Production teams for development and trials.
- Improve core box designs based on trial results and quality feedback.
Key Skills
- Hand on experience in Die Core Box Design of GDC/LPDC, Simulation, Tool Design.
- Knowledge of IATF ISO Audits, DFM, GD&T.;
- Valuable problem-solving, communication and cross-functional coordination skills.
Desired Candidate Profile
- 3-8 years of experience.
- Diploma /B.Tech. / B.E. degree
- Proficiency in UG NX (preferred) CATIA, Creo, SolidWorks, AutoCAD
