Job Title: Purchase Executive – Trims

Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Purchase Executive – Trims to manage the sourcing and procurement of production and packing trims for both Salesman Samples (SMS) and bulk production. The role is responsible for ensuring timely material availability, accurate procurement, inventory optimization, vendor coordination, and adherence to customer specifications to support uninterrupted manufacturing operations.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in trims procurement within the garment manufacturing industry and possess solid coordination, planning, documentation, and vendor management skills.

Role Purpose

The Purchase Executive – Trims will be responsible for end-to-end procurement of trims, vendor follow-ups, inventory monitoring, documentation, and quality compliance. The role plays a critical part in ensuring all trims are available as per the production Time & Action (T&A;) plan while maintaining optimum inventory levels and minimizing excess or obsolete stock.





Key Responsibilities

Trim Procurement & Planning
- Procure production and packing trims for SMS and bulk orders as per the approved Time & Action (T&A;) calendar.
- Ensure 100% on-time availability of trims to support production schedules.
- Raise Purchase Orders (POs) based on approved requirements.
- Ensure all materials are ordered strictly as per customer-approved trim sheets and specification documents.
- Monitor procurement timelines and proactively follow up with vendors to avoid delays.

Vendor Coordination & Order Management
- Coordinate with suppliers for timely dispatch and delivery of trims.
- Track purchase orders from placement until receipt of materials.
- Ensure correct order quantities are supplied with minimal discrepancies.
- Resolve delivery issues, shortages, and vendor-related concerns promptly.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with approved suppliers.
