Ikigai School of AI is looking for an enthusiastic and target-oriented Academic Counselor who can connect with students and working professionals, understand their career goals, and guide them towards the right AI and technology programs.
The ideal candidate should have strong communication and sales skills, be comfortable making a high volume of calls, following up with leads, handling objections, and converting prospective students into enrolled students.
The candidate should also have a basic understanding of Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics, Digital Marketing, and other AI-enabled career programs, so that they can confidently explain the benefits and relevance of these courses.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead Calling & Conversion
- Call and connect with leads generated through digital marketing, social media, events and other channels.
- Understand the student's or working professional's background, career goals and requirements.
- Explain relevant AI courses, curriculum, duration, fees, career opportunities and outcomes.
- Counsel prospects and help them select the most suitable course.
- Handle questions, objections and concerns effectively.
- Follow up regularly with interested and undecided leads.
- Convert qualified leads into course registrations and admissions.
- Achieve monthly admission and revenue targets.
2. AI Course Counselling
- Develop a positive understanding of Ikigai School of AI's courses and programs.
- Explain AI and technology concepts in simple language to students and working professionals.
- Clearly communicate the practical benefits of learning AI and how the programs can support growth opportunities, upskilling or entrepreneurship.
- Stay updated about new courses, curriculum changes and upcoming batches.
3. Follow-ups & CRM Management
- Maintain accurate records of all leads and conversations.
- Update lead status, follow-up dates, remarks and conversion stages in the CRM/Google Sheets.
