Job Description
Job Purpose

The EHS Engineer is responsible for implementing, monitoring, and continually improving Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) management systems across gas handling and processing facilities. The role focuses on ensuring protected operations, regulatory compliance, risk management, emergency preparedness, and the promotion of a strong safety culture. The incumbent will work closely with operations, maintenance, contractors,



and management teams to identify hazards, prevent incidents, and ensure adherence to applicable safety standards and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
- Safety Management & Risk Control
- Conduct routine safety inspections, audits, and compliance assessments of gas facilities, including pipelines, compressors, gas processing plants, storage tanks, and related infrastructure.
- Identify, assess, and control hazards associated with gas leaks, high-pressure systems, flammable gases, hazardous materials, confined spaces, and other operational risks.
- Support and monitor the implementation of Permit to Work (PTW) systems for high-risk activities.
- Facilitate Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA), and toolbox talks before commencement of work.
- Monitor critical activities such as hot work, confined space entry, lifting operations, excavation work, and maintenance shutdown activities.
