Role & responsibilities of CCR Ball Mill Operator:
- Monitor and control cement grinding process from CCR through the DCS system.
- Maintain optimum mill parameters such as feed rate, mill load, separator speed, and temperature.
- Ensure proper operation of auxiliary equipment like bag filters, conveyors, and separators.
- Check product fineness and quality as per plant standards.
- Coordinate with field operators and maintenance team for smooth operation.
- Identify and troubleshoot process disturbances or alarms in the mill.
- Maintain production targets with minimum power consumption.
- Ensure safety procedures during mill start-up, shutdown, and emergency situations.
- Continuous monitoring through DCS/SCADA system.
- Achieve daily production targets with quality control.
- Maintain equipment safety and operational stability.
- Communicate with shift in-charge, field operators, and maintenance teams.
- Follow plant SOPs, safety rules, and environmental guidelines.
- Maintain shift log book and operational reports.

Preferred candidate profile

1-2 Years experience in cement plant in Ball mill as well as in VRM
