Role & responsibilities
- Engineering spares, electrical items, plumbing, consumables, MRO items, services and contracts.
- Vendor Management: Vendor identification, development, evaluation, negotiation and relationship management.
- Commercial: RFQ, quotation comparison, costing, price negotiation, PO/WO finalization and cost reduction.
- Contracts: Rate contracts, annual contracts, service contracts, renewals and coordination with Legal.
- Imports: Import procurement, documentation and customs clearance procedures.
- ERP: SAP/ERP purchase module and MIS reporting.
- Robust plus: Local market knowledge for engineering/MRO items.
- KPI orientation: Cost reduction, timely delivery, vendor development, quality improvement and rate contracts.

Preferred candidate profile
- Education: BE/B.Tech/B.Sc. preferably Mechanical/Engineering; PG Diploma in Materials Management is an advantage.
- Experience: 810 years in Procurement / Purchase / SCM, preferably in manufacturing, engineering, industrial, or plant environments.
