Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Mathematics Teacher for Grades 1 to 2 under the CBSE curriculum. The ideal candidate will create an engaging learning environment that fosters curiosity, logical thinking, and solid foundational math skills among young learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging mathematics lessons aligned with the CBSE curriculum.
- Develop age-appropriate lesson plans, worksheets, and teaching materials.
- Use interactive teaching methods to make math enjoyable and easy to understand.
- Assess and monitor student progress through tests, assignments, and classroom activities.
- Provide constructive feedback to students and communicate progress with parents.
- Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
- Integrate technology and hands-on activities into teaching where appropriate.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events.
- Support students with different learning needs through differentiated instruction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
- B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) is mandatory.
- Prior experience teaching primary grades (1–2), preferably in a CBSE school.
- Strong understanding of CBSE curriculum and teaching methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, creativity, and passion for teaching young learners.
Preferred Skills:
- Ability to use smart boards and digital teaching tools.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Activity-based and experiential learning approach.
