Job Description Sr.Accounts Executive

Position Overview We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accounts Executive with solid hands-on experience in accounting operations. The candidate should have sound knowledge of purchase and sales invoicing, bank reconciliation, GST compliance, and TDS filing. The role requires accuracy, timely reporting, and compliance with statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Accounting & Bookkeeping Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in accounting software (Tally / ERP or equivalent).

2. Purchase Accounting Verify and process purchase invoices as per PO, GRN, and agreed commercial terms.

3. Sales Accounting Prepare and verify sales invoices as per approved quotations, work orders, or contracts.

4. Bank Reconciliation Perform daily / monthly bank reconciliation statements (BRS). Track bank entries, payments, receipts, and charges.

5. GST Compliance(GST returns) Prepare and file GST returns including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B reconciliation, and annual returns.

6. TDS Compliance(Prepare and file TDS returns)



Deduct TDS as per applicable sections of the Income Tax Act. Prepare and file TDS returns (Quarterly). Generate and issue Form 16A to vendors and service providers. Reconcile TDS with Form 26Q / 24Q and ensure timely payment.

7. Statutory & Compliance Support Support statutory audits, internal audits, and tax audits. Maintain proper records for audit and compliance purposes. Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

8. Generating E-Way Bills on the GST portal for material dispatch Preparing invoices, delivery challans, and transport details

9. Coordination & Reporting Coordinate with internal departments such as Purchase, Sales, Stores, HR, and Management. Prepare MIS reports related to accounts, receivables, payables, GST, and bank balances. Provide timely financial information to management as required.

10. Monthly MIS report(P&L;, BS,Trial Balance)
