JOB DESCRIPTION – FINANCE MANAGER

Position: Finance Manager

Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day finance and accounting operations of the organization.
- Prepare and monitor budgets, cash-flow statements, MIS reports and financial projections.
- Ensure timely payment of salaries, vendors, statutory dues and other financial obligations.
- Supervise accounting, billing, receivables, payables and bank reconciliation.
- Monitor project-wise income, expenditure and fund utilization, particularly for government skill-development projects.
- Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, PF, ESIC, Income Tax and other applicable statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, banks, government departments and other stakeholders.
- Review financial transactions, vouchers, invoices and supporting documents for accuracy and compliance.
- Track outstanding receivables and payables and support effective cash-flow management.




- Prepare monthly and periodic financial statements and management reports.
- Maintain proper financial records and ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls.
- Identify financial risks, discrepancies and opportunities for cost optimization.
- Lead and supervise the finance/accounts team.

Required Qualification & Experience
- Qualification: CA / CMA / MBA Finance or equivalent.
- Experience: 4-5 years of relevant experience in finance and accounts.
- Experience in government projects, NGOs, skill-development projects or multi-location organizations will be an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in Tally/ERP, MS Excel and financial MIS.
- Solid analytical, communication and team-management skills.
