Personal Accountant (Investments)

We are looking for a Personal Accountant to assist with the day-to-day maintenance of personal financial, banking and investment records. The role is primarily focused on accounting, data entry, Excel-based record keeping, bank transactions, payments, documentation and maintaining equity investment records.

The candidate will work with equity portfolios, brokerage accounts, bank accounts, Tally and Excel.

Key Responsibilities

1. Equity & Investment Records
- Maintain and update records of all equity investments and trades in Excel.
- Maintain portfolio records on Moneycontrol.
- Maintain organised digital records of contract notes, statements and other investment documents.

2. Bank & Accounts
- Check bank accounts on a daily basis for recent transactions.
- Update the central Bank Excel/MIS with receipts, payments, transfers, charges and other transactions.
- Enter payment and bank transactions in Tally.
- Maintain supporting documents for payments and transactions.
- Coordinate quarterly balance confirmations with relevant parties.




- Maintain updated KYC documents and records for bank, brokerage and other financial accounts.

3. General MIS & Documentation
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date Excel files and trackers.
- Ensure all required daily, weekly and monthly updates are completed on time.
- Maintain proper digital filing and documentation of financial records.
- Prepare periodic Excel summaries and snapshots for management.
- Follow established daily/weekly/monthly checklists.
- Identify missing documents, incomplete entries or discrepancies and report them promptly.
- Assist with other routine finance and investment administration work as required.

Candidate Profile

Education
- B.Com preferred.

Experience
- 1-3 years of experience.
- Candidates with experience in:
- Accounts
- Back-office operations
- Banking operations
- Stock broking
- Wealth management
- Investment operations
- Data entry/MIS
will be preferred.
