Role & responsibilities
- Develop recent garment designs and fashion collections as per market trends.
- Create design concepts, sketches, and garment styles.
- Select suitable fabrics, colors, prints, trims, and accessories.
- Prepare tech packs, design specifications, and measurement details.
- Coordinate with the pattern master and sampling team for sample development.
- Review samples and suggest changes in fitting, styling, fabric, and finishing.
- Develop new styles according to customer and brand requirements.
- Research current fashion trends, colors, fabrics, and market developments.
- Coordinate with production, merchandising, and quality teams.
- Ensure designs are practical for production and meet quality standards.
- Modify designs based on customer feedback and approvals.
- Maintain design files, samples, references, and collection records.




- Support the team in developing commercial and export-quality garments.

Preferred candidate profile
- Strong knowledge of garment design and fashion trends.
- Good understanding of fabrics, prints, colors, and garment construction.
- Knowledge of pattern making and garment fitting is preferred.
- Good knowledge of fashion design software such as CorelDRAW, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar.
- Creative thinking and strong sense of fashion and styling.
- Ability to develop commercially viable designs.
- Good communication and coordination skills.

Experience: 2-5 years of experience in garment/fashion designing preferred.

Diploma/Degree in Fashion Designing, Apparel Designing, Textile Designing, or related field preferred.
