IT Support Engineer

Prescient Security is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Support Engineer to serve as a key member of our IT team. This role combines hands-on end-user support (Level 1/Level 2), remote onboarding/offboarding, systems administration, and IT security compliance responsibilities. The ideal candidate is comfortable both troubleshooting day-to-day technical issues and owning compliance-driven initiatives such as SOC 2 audit support, access reviews, and Vanta control remediation. This is a role suited to someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership, and communicates clearly with employees at all levels.

Key Responsibilities

IT Support & Ticket Management
- Own and resolve Level 1 and Level 2 support tickets, ensuring timely and effective resolution in line with SLAs.
- Document troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and recurring issues to build out internal knowledge base content.

Onboarding & Offboarding
- Manage end-to-end onboarding and offboarding processes for a fully remote workplace, including account provisioning,



hardware setup/shipping, and access deprovisioning.
- Deliver new hire IT presentations as part of the onboarding program, covering systems, security expectations, and available tools/resources.
- Coordinate with HR and department leads to ensure a smooth, secure, and well-documented employee lifecycle experience.

Systems Administration (Intune / MDM)
- Serve as the owner (not just an administrator) of Microsoft Intune and MDM processes for both Windows and Mac endpoints, with a primary focus on Windows.
- Design, maintain, and improve device compliance policies, configuration profiles, and enrollment workflows.
- Ensure endpoints remain secure, compliant, and properly managed throughout their lifecycle.

Compliance, GRC & Security
- Use Vanta to continuously monitor security controls, investigate failing tests, and drive remediation to closure.
