Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Overall Responsibility of Purchase of Capex and Opex Items for Atulaya Group
- Identification of cost-effective vendors with an aim of reducing cost while improving quality & reliability.
- Developing supplier market intelligence, understand supplier market economics, develop pricing benchmarks and formulating RM cost templates.
- Collaborate with inventory control and sales to develop metrics for inventory level requirements on monthly basis
- Negotiations with suppliers & PO creation in ERP system, maintain the tracking system of PO issues and pending PO against supplies
- Follow up with suppliers for timely delivery of material.
- Recent Suppliers Development and vendor rating.
- Review the Purchase analysis of Group and identify avenues of cost reduction
- Explore savings potential, move in market to get landed prices
- Flash month end report of purchase rate/buying price report with impact analysis
