Key Responsibilities

Teach Home Science and Fashion Studies to senior secondary classes as per CBSE curriculum.

Prepare and deliver engaging lesson plans, practical sessions, demonstrations, and activities.

Conduct practicals, projects, assignments, and subject-related workshops.

Teach concepts related to nutrition, human development, resource management, textiles, apparel, fashion, and design.

Guide students in fashion-related projects, garment construction, textile studies, and creative assignments.

Prepare worksheets, question papers, study material, and assessment activities.

Conduct regular assessments and provide constructive feedback.

Prepare students effectively for board examinations.

Maintain proper records of students’ academic performance and practical work.

Ensure proper use, safety,



and maintenance of Home Science/Fashion Studies laboratory resources.

Encourage creativity, innovation, and practical learning among students.

Participate in PTMs, school events, exhibitions, workshops, and other academic activities.

Skills Required

Robust knowledge of Home Science and Fashion Studies.

Good practical knowledge of textiles, apparel, nutrition, and related areas.

Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

Creative and innovative approach to teaching.

Ability to conduct practical demonstrations and project-based learning.

Good lesson planning and assessment skills.

Proficiency in digital teaching tools and smart classrooms.

Preferred Candidate

Prior experience teaching Home Science/Fashion Studies at the senior secondary level.

CBSE school experience will be preferred.

Candidates with strong practical, project, and board-examination preparation experience will be preferred.
