Responsibilities

The Technical Artist is responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing the technical foundation of automotive visualization projects. The role bridges the gap between Art and Development by creating scalable production workflows, improving rendering performance, implementing technical solutions, and enabling artists to work efficiently while maintaining the highest visual quality.

Pipeline Development
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable production pipelines for Unreal Engine visualization projects.
- Create standardized workflows for environments, lighting, materials, cameras, cinematics, and rendering.
- Develop reusable systems, templates, and production frameworks that improve team efficiency.




- Continuously optimize production workflows through automation and process improvements.

Unreal Engine Development
- Configure and maintain Unreal Engine project templates.
- Implement rendering workflows supporting both Lumen and Path Tracing.
- Develop Blueprint-based tools and utility systems for artists.
- Support the integration of new Unreal Engine features into existing production pipelines.
- Evaluate new Unreal Engine releases and assess their impact on production.

Rendering & Performance Optimization
- Optimize rendering quality and runtime performance for real-time applications, configurators, cinematics, and cloud rendering.
- Analyze GPU and CPU performance bottlenecks.
- Optimize Nanite, Lumen, Virtual Shadow Maps, Virtual Textures, shaders, and memory usage.
- Balance visual fidelity and rendering performance across different production scenarios.
