Role & responsibilities
- Handle plant-related purchases, mainly assembly and externally procured parts.
- Raise purchase requisitions and purchase orders.
- Coordinate with suppliers for timely material delivery.
- Monitor inventory levels and stock availability.
- Maintain purchase, inventory, and stock records.
- Coordinate with transporters for inward and outward material movement.
- Assist in store operations, material receipt, and verification.
- Maintain purchase and store documentation.
- Coordinate with Production, PPC, and Quality departments.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and audit requirements.
Preferred candidate profile
- 3-5 years of experience in Purchase or Stores in a manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge of Tally and MS Excel.
- Understanding of inventory control and procurement processes.
- Positive communication and follow-up skills.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
