Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced
GCP Administrator / GCP Lead / GCP Architect
with strong hands-on expertise in
Google Cloud Platform administration, infrastructure, security, networking, and cloud operations
. The ideal candidate should have thorough knowledge of GCP administration and the ability to
lead and guide a team working on GCP infrastructure and cloud resources
.
This is
not primarily a DevOps role
. The client is specifically looking for a professional with deep, practical experience in
GCP administration and cloud infrastructure management
, along with the ability to drive technical teams and ensure reliable, secure, and compliant GCP operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage
GCP infrastructure administration and operations
across enterprise environments.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to teams working with GCP resources.
- Design, implement, configure, and manage GCP infrastructure based on business and technical requirements.
- Administer and troubleshoot
Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, VPC, IAM, networking, and related GCP services
.
- Define and enforce GCP infrastructure, security, access control, and operational best practices.
- Manage GCP environments, projects, organizations, folders, service accounts, and resource hierarchy.
- Work closely with application, infrastructure, security, and engineering teams to resolve GCP-related issues.
- Monitor cloud environments and proactively identify performance, availability, capacity, and security issues.
- Support cloud security, compliance, governance, and audit requirements within the GCP workplace.
- Use
Terraform / Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
for infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
