As a Lead Data Analyst for Targets Data Analytics teamyou'll:
Support our world-class leadership team at Target with critical data analysisthat helps Merch business team to make profitable decisions. Enable faster,smarter and more scalable decision-making to compete and win the contemporary retailmarket. Collaborate with stakeholders and understand their priorities/roadmapto achieve the business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate thought leadership in theapplication of data, analytics, and AI to influence strategy and outcomes
- Independently translate ambiguous businessproblems into structured analytical approaches, including scenario, decision,and action modelling
- Partner with Target business stakeholders tounderstand priorities and roadmaps, validate analytical requirements, andpresent insights and recommendations with clarity and impact
- Design, develop, and deliver analytical andAI-driven solutions (including GenAI, Agent, and Agentic approaches) thatenable decision support, forecasting, optimization, and automation
- Apply advanced analytics techniques,



includingcausal, predictive, and prescriptive analytics, to drive deeper understandingof business levers and inform optimal actions
- Work with large-scale datasets using platformssuch as GCP BigQuery, Spark, and SQL-based data warehouses; build and maintainreliable data pipelines using Airflow or similar orchestration tools
- Evaluate and monitor-driven analyticalworkflows, defining quality metrics (e.g., accuracy, relevance), assessingreliability, and measuring tangible business impact
- Synthesize complex analyses into compellingnarratives; act as a strong storyteller who can influence executive andmerchant audiences using data
- Develop strong business acumen and cultivatetrusted relationships with internal clients and partners
- Create high-quality analytical and AI solutionartifacts, documenting methodologies, assumptions, models, and decision logic
- Contribute to knowledge-sharing systems thats
