HMV Bus Driver – Trivandrum

Job Overview

We are looking for a responsible and experienced HMV Bus Driver to safely transport students between hostels, residences, and Xylem Learning centres in Trivandrum. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of local routes, excellent driving skills, and a commitment to student safety.

Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport students according to assigned routes and daily schedules.
- Ensure safe and orderly boarding and deboarding of students.
- Follow all traffic rules and maintain safe driving practices at all times.
- Conduct daily vehicle checks, including brakes, tyres, fuel, lights, and fluid levels.
- Keep the bus clean and in positive operating condition.
- Report vehicle defects, maintenance requirements, accidents, or other issues immediately.




- Coordinate with transport coordinators, hostel wardens, and administrative teams regarding routes and schedules.
- Inform the concerned team promptly about traffic delays, route changes, or unexpected situations.
- Ensure the driving licence, vehicle documents, permits, and other required credentials are valid and up to date.

Requirements
- SSLC or Plus Two preferred.
- Valid Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) Driving Licence.
- Previous experience driving buses, school buses, college buses, or institutional transport is highly preferred.
- Good knowledge of Trivandrum city routes, bypasses, and traffic conditions.
- Ability to communicate effectively in Malayalam.
- Punctual, reliable, patient, and responsible.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
