Roles and Responsibilities
- Conduct sampling and analysis of iron ore mineral processing plant feed, rejects, and water to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Prepare daily reports on laboratory activities, including sample analysis results and any observations made during testing.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning equipment, inspecting instruments, and recording data in logbooks.
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., production planning) to optimize process performance by identifying areas for improvement.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols at all times while working in a hazardous environment.

Desired Candidate Profile
- 5-10 years of experience in chemistry or related field (iron & steel industry preferred).
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry (B.Sc), Chemical Engineering (B.Tech / B.E.), or equivalent qualification.
- Robust understanding of minerals, metals, and iron ore mining processes; knowledge of chemical principles applied to these industries an asset.
