Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Video Editor Cum Mentor who can handle professional video editing while also mentoring and guiding students/trainees in video editing.
Responsibilities
- Edit videos for social media, advertisements, reels, YouTube, and marketing campaigns.
- Create engaging and high-quality video content according to brand requirements.
- Guide students/trainees in video editing techniques and industry practices.
- Conduct practical mentoring sessions and provide feedback on student projects.
- Maintain consistency in video quality, storytelling, transitions, audio, and visual effects.
- Stay updated with current video editing trends and social media formats.
- Complete assigned editing and mentoring tasks within deadlines.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools.
- Good understanding of video editing, transitions, color correction, sound editing, and motion graphics.
- Previous experience in professional video editing.
- Good communication and mentoring skills.
- Ability to explain editing concepts clearly to beginners.
- A strong portfolio/showreel is preferred.
Payment
Freelance payment: Based on experience, workload, and project requirements.
