Job Summary
The Loading Assistant – Night Operations is responsible for loading, unloading, arranging, and handling courier shipments during night operations. The role involves physical work and requires proper handling of packages weighing up to 10 kg.
Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload courier bags, parcels, and shipments from vehicles.
- Handle and move packages weighing up to 10 kg safely and carefully.
- Arrange packages properly according to destination, route, or assigned vehicle.
- Assist the sorting and operations team during night-time dispatch activities.
- Ensure packages are handled without damage or misplacement.
- Assist in loading vehicles according to the assigned route and dispatch requirements.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper arrangement of the loading and dispatch area.
- Immediately report damaged, missing, or misplaced shipments to the supervisor.
- Follow company safety, security, operational, and attendance procedures.
- Complete all assigned loading and handling activities within the required time.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Operations Manager or Supervisor.
