Role Overview:

The Assistant Manager E-commerce Merchandiser cum Buyer will be responsible for handling end-to-end merchandising and buying activities for ASICS India Ecom D2C. The role involves assortment planning, product selection, internal coordination, pricing, inventory management and sales performance analysis and will be reporting into Deputy Manager Ecommerce Merchandising.

Key Responsibilities

1. E-commerce Merchandising

a. Manage the online product assortment across all digital channels.

b. Ensure accurate product information, including titles, descriptions, specifications, images, pricing, attributes, and inventory status.

c. Plan timely product and season launches in alignment with both Marketplace and Brand Website operation teams.

d. Conduct regular audits to identify content gaps, pricing errors, stock issues, and listing discrepancies.

Buying and Assortment Planning

a. Support the development of seasonal and category-wise buying plans.

b. Analyse historical sales, market trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences to make buying decisions.

c. Ensure buys are aligned with sales forecasts, inventory budgets, and company guidelines.

3. Inventory and Stock Management

a. Monitor inventory levels, stock cover, sell-through, ageing stock, slow-moving items, and stock-outs.

b. Minimize lost sales due to stock-outs while maintaining healthy inventory levels.

4. Reporting and Business Analysis

a. Prepare regular reports on sales, stock, sell-through, margins, availability, returns, and product performance.

b. Prepare category review presentations and business updates for management.

c. Track performance against budgets, targets, forecasts, and key performance indicators.

d. Provide actionable recommendations based on business and customer
