Research & Business Development Manager India (supporting Tasmania AUSTRALIA)

We are recruiting a full time Research & Business Development Manager based in India to support our business activities in Tasmania. The ideal candidate will combine strong research capabilities, proven business development experience, excellent verbal and written communication, and professional presentation skills. This role will work closely with our Tasmania leadership to identify market opportunities, build partnerships, generate qualified leads, and support strategic decision-making.

Position Summary

The Research & Business Development Manager will be responsible for market research, lead generation, stakeholder outreach, proposal development, and supporting client and partner engagement. The role requires someone who can operate independently, adapt to cross-cultural contexts, coordinate with remote teams in Tasmania, and present findings clearly to senior stakeholders. Regular overlap with Tasmania business hours is required.

Key Responsibilities




- Conduct primary and secondary market research focused on Tasmania and relevant Australian markets to identify trends, opportunities, competitors, and regulatory issues.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential clients, partners, and government contacts relevant to our Tasmania operations.
- Create tailored outreach campaigns (email, LinkedIn, phone scripts) and follow-up sequences to convert prospects into qualified leads.
- Prepare high-quality written proposals, briefs, capability statements, and presentation decks for clients and partners.
- Coordinate and support virtual meetings, webinars, and face-to-face presentations with Tasmanian stakeholders and partners.
- Manage CRM entries, track engagement metrics, and report progress against targets.
- Work with the Tasmania leadership team to develop go-to-market strategies, pricing input, and partnership models.
