Job Title: Law Officer

Job Summary

We are looking for a competent and experienced Law Officer to oversee all legal aspects of various real estate projects across Nagpur including plotted layout development projects. The role involves land due diligence, title verification, regulatory approvals, legal documentation, litigation management(if any), and ensuring compliance with applicable land and real estate laws.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct legal due diligence and title verification for land acquisition and development.
- Scrutinize ownership records, revenue records, encumbrance certificates, and other property-related documents.
- Draft, review, and vet Agreements to Sell, Sale Deeds, Development Agreements, Joint Development Agreements (JDA), Power of Attorney, MOUs, and other legal documents.
- Ensure compliance with RERA, town planning regulations, land revenue laws, registration laws, and other statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with government departments, Sub-Registrar offices, Revenue Authorities, Town Planning Authorities, Banks and legal consultants.




- Handle land conversion, layout approvals, and legal documentation required for plotted development projects or other real estate projects.
- Manage litigation, legal notices, disputes, and coordinate with external advocates for court matters.
- Provide legal support to the Sales, CRM, Projects, and Management teams on customer and land-related issues.
- Maintain legal records, agreements, approvals, and case files.
- Monitor changes in real estate and land laws and advise management on legal risks and compliance requirements.

Qualifications
- LL.B. (Mandatory); LL.M. preferred.
- 5–8 years of experience in real estate, preferably in plotted layout development projects.
- Robust knowledge of property law, land revenue laws, registration procedures, RERA, contract law, and local development regulations.
- Excellent legal drafting, analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
