Position : Trainer Furniture Design & Manufacturing

Department: Furniture Design & Manufacturing

Qualification & Experience:
- Graduation in Woodworking / Furniture Making.
- Minimum 02 year of hands-on experience in woodworking / furniture manufacturing
- Basic knowledge of workshop tools, machines, and materials

Key Responsibilities:

Workshop & Technical Support
- Assist faculty/students in performing woodworking operations.
- Must have working knowledge of hand tools, handy (portable power) tools, stationary machines, and CNC machines, including but not limited to:

Hand Tools: Hand Saw, Chisel, Hand Plane, Mallet, Claw Hammer, Marking Gauge, Try Square, Screwdriver Set, Clamps, Wood File, Coping Saw etc.

Handy (Portable Power) Machines: Power Drill Machine, Jigsaw, Hand Router, Orbital/Random Sander, Circular Saw, Angle Grinder,



Nail Gun

Stationary Machines: Panel Saw, Surface Planer, Thickness Planer, Jointer, Band Saw, Spindle Moulder, Drill Machine, Wood Lathe, Mortising Machine, Belt Sander

CNC Machines: CNC Router, CNC Edge Banding Machine

Store & Inventory Management
- Maintain proper records of raw materials (wood, boards, hardware) and consumables
- Monitor stock levels and inform for replenishment requirements

Documentation & Record Keeping
- Maintain departmental registers (stock register, tool issue register, job records, maintenance logs)
- Keep records of workshop usage, material consumption, and project work.
