Position Overview

The APIGEE / AXWAY Developer will join the BNPP Personal Finance technology team, working closely with on‑shore colleagues in Spain. The role focuses on designing, building and maintaining API proxies on Apigee and Axway, with a particular emphasis on migrating existing Axway proxies to Apigee. You will ensure that APIs are secure, scalable and performant while providing explicit documentation and support to internal and external stakeholders. Strong communication skills in English and a customer‑centric mindset are essential.

Job Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain API proxies on Apigee and Axway, driving the migration of Axway proxies to Apigee.
- Manage certificates, keys and security policies (JWT, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, mTLS) within Apigee.
- Create and maintain ShareFlows, custom policies and reusable components.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical specifications and deliver solutions on time.
- Ensure API security, scalability and performance through proper design,



testing and monitoring.
- Produce and keep up‑to‑date technical documentation (design specs, usage guides, run‑books) for all developed proxies.
- Participate in code reviews, enforce best‑practice standards and contribute to the continuous improvement of the API platform.
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to API proxies, certificates, and integration points.
- Support CI/CD pipelines for API deployment and promote automation of build, test and release activities.
- Follow Agile processes, attend ceremonies and actively contribute to the team’s knowledge‑sharing culture.

Required Education, Skills, AND Experience (MUST‑HAVE)
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience designing, developing and maintaining API proxies on Apigee and/or Axway.
- Proven experience migrating API proxies from Axway to Api
