JOB DESCRIPTION – OPERATIONS HEAD

Position: Operations Head
Location: Jhajjar Plant, Haryana
Industry: Plastic Injection Moulding / Manufacturing
Experience: 12–18+ Years

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Operations Head to manage and lead the overall operations of our Jhajjar Manufacturing Plant. The candidate should have robust experience in plastic injection moulding, manufacturing operations, production planning, quality, maintenance and team management.

Experience with LG or an LG Vendor Company is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage complete plant operations and ensure smooth day-to-day functioning.
- Achieve production, quality, cost and delivery targets.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Tool Room, PPC, Purchase, Stores and Dispatch.
- Ensure effective production planning and optimum utilization of manpower and machines.
- Monitor OEE, productivity, rejection, rework, downtime and production losses.
- Drive cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Implement 5S, TPM,



Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing practices.
- Ensure timely availability of raw materials, moulds, manpower and other resources.
- Monitor departmental KPIs and review plant performance.
- Ensure customer requirements, quality standards and delivery schedules are achieved.
- Lead customer and process audits and ensure timely corrective actions.
- Prepare and review daily, weekly and monthly operational MIS.
- Develop and motivate departmental teams and ensure effective manpower utilization.
- Maintain high standards of safety, quality, discipline and operational efficiency.
- Report plant performance, major issues and improvement plans to senior management.

Qualification & Skills
- Degree/Diploma in Mechanical / Production / Plastic Engineering or equivalent.
- 12–18+ years of relevant manufacturing experience.
- Strong experience in Plastic Injection Moulding.
- Proven experience in handling complete plant
