Job Title: Assistant Professor – Socilology and English

Position Overview: Kasturi Shikshan Sanstha invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor. We are seeking a dedicated scholar and educator committed to excellence in undergraduate/graduate teaching, impactful research, and service to the academic community.

Key Responsibilities:
- Teaching & Instruction:
- Design, prepare, and deliver high-quality courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
- Mentor and advise students academically and professionally, supervising research projects, theses, or dissertations.
- Incorporate cutting-edge instructional technologies and modern teaching methodologies into classroom and laboratory environments.
- Service & Administrative Engagement:
- Participate actively in departmental, college, and university committees.
- Assist with curriculum development, accreditation requirements, and program assessments.
- Contribute to institutional service, student recruitment,



and professional outreach within the academic discipline.

Required Qualifications:
- SET/NET qualified in Sociology or English
- Demonstrated potential for excellence in university-level teaching and curriculum development.
- Clear research agenda with evidence of scholarly output (publications, conference presentations, or grants).
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Postdoctoral research experience or prior university teaching experience.
- Demonstrated track record of securing external research funding or grants.
- Experience with diverse teaching modalities (e.g., online, hybrid, interactive lectures).
- Ability to collaborate across disciplines on research and educational projects.

Pay: ₹13,056.61 - ₹50,000.00 per month
