Job Description / Responsibilities

Post Graduation plus B. Ed. with 10 years experience in ICSE schools in grade 9 to 12, should have taught Julius Caesar.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver effective English lessons according to the prescribed curriculum.
- Teach grammar, vocabulary, literature, reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension skills.
- Develop engaging lesson plans, activities, worksheets, and teaching materials.
- Assess students through assignments, tests, examinations, and classroom activities.
- Monitor and evaluate individual student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Identify students requiring additional academic support and provide remedial guidance.
- Maintain an engaging, inclusive, and disciplined classroom workplace.
- Encourage students to improve their communication, presentation,



and creative writing skills.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, assessments, and student performance.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings and communicate students academic progress.
- Collaborate with other teachers and school management on academic activities.
- Participate in school events, competitions, workshops, and extracurricular activities.
- Stay updated with effective teaching methodologies and educational practices.

Desired profile of the candidate

B.Ed. with 10 years experience in ICSE schools with good spoken English.

Qualification - Post Graduation in English with B.Ed.
