About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Maths Tutor to join our academy. The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to make mathematics engaging and easy to understand for students.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach mathematics concepts clearly and effectively to students.
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons based on students’ learning levels.
- Help students strengthen their fundamentals and problem-solving skills.
- Prepare worksheets, practice exercises, tests, and other learning materials.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Identify students’ learning gaps and provide additional support where required.
- Encourage students to develop confidence and a positive attitude toward mathematics.
- Maintain a disciplined, supportive, and engaging classroom environment.
- Communicate students’ progress and areas for improvement to parents and academy management when required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of mathematical concepts and problem-solving techniques.
- Previous teaching or tutoring experience is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to explain complex concepts in a simple and practical manner.
- Patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine interest in helping students succeed.
