About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Card Consultant to advise and support issuers, corporates, and financial institutions on the design, implementation, and optimization of commercial card programs. The ideal candidate brings deep domain expertise in card issuance, payment networks, compliance, and program management, and can translate business requirements into effective card solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Advise clients on commercial card program design, including card types (T&E;, purchasing, fleet, virtual cards), spend controls, and approval workflows.
- Support end-to-end implementation of commercial card programs from onboarding and configuration to go-live.
- Provide expertise on card network rules, scheme compliance, and regulatory requirements (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, etc.).
- Analyze client business requirements and recommend tailored card issuance, tokenization, and payment solutions.
- Collaborate with issuers, processors, and technology teams to configure card products, approval hierarchies, and spend policies.




- Guide clients through card migration, BIN management, and network/processor transitions.
- Conduct gap analysis and readiness assessments for new card program launches.
- Support due diligence, KYC, and compliance validation processes related to commercial card issuance.
- Prepare documentation, process flows, and training materials for client and internal stakeholders.
- Stay current on industry trends, card network updates, and emerging technologies (tokenization, virtual cards, embedded finance).
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) during client engagements, workshops, and solution demos.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 8-12 years of experience in commercial cards, card issuance, or payments consulting.
- Robust understanding of card lifecycle management, tokenization, and payment network operations.
