About the Role
We are looking for an experienced UAE Accountant to join our team remotely from India. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience working with UAE-based corporate structures, company formations, and statutory compliance requirements, along with proficiency in Zoho Books/Zoho Accounting software.
This role is best suited for professionals who have previously worked with a Corporate Service Provider (CSP) and are familiar with the end-to-end process of setting up and managing companies in the UAE.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage accounting and bookkeeping for UAE-based entities using Zoho Accounting/Zoho Books
• Assist with company setup and incorporation processes in the UAE (Mainland/Free Zone/Offshore)
• Draft and prepare financial statements in line with UAE regulatory and IFRS standards
• Handle corporate tax filing and VAT return filing for UAE entities
• Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns as per UAE Federal Tax Authority (FTA) guidelines
• Liaise with clients, auditors, and regulatory bodies on accounting and compliance matters
• Maintain proper documentation for company registrations, renewals, and regulatory filings
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes
• Ensure compliance with UAE Corporate Tax Law and VAT regulations
Required Skills & Qualifications
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably with a CSP (Corporate Service Provider) or UAE-focused accounting firm
• Solid working knowledge of UAE company formation processes (Mainland, Free Zone, Offshore)
• Hands-on proficiency in Zoho Books/Zoho Accounting software
• Experience in drafting financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L;, Cash Flow)
• Practical knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax filing procedures
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting,
