We are looking for an experienced *Appian Developer* with strong hands-on experience in designing, developing, and implementing Appian applications. The candidate should have good knowledge of Appian UI development, backend REST API integrations, role-based access control, group security, and permission management.

The ideal candidate should be able to work independently on Appian interfaces, process models, records, integrations, security configurations, and troubleshooting application or integration issues. The candidate should also have valuable communication skills to interact with clients, business users, backend developers, QA teams, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

* Design, develop, and maintain Appian applications using SAIL interfaces, process models, records, reports, and sites.

* Build user-friendly Appian interfaces based on business requirements.

* Develop and maintain Appian process models for business workflows and approvals.

* Create and manage Appian records, CDTs, Data Stores, Query Entities, and related data objects.





* Integrate Appian applications with backend systems using REST APIs.

* Handle JSON request and response mapping in Appian integrations.

* Configure role-based access control using Appian users, groups, roles, and permissions.

* Implement record-level security and user-based access control.

* Work closely with backend developers to understand API contracts, request payloads, response structures, authentication, and error handling.

* Communicate with clients and business users to understand requirements, clarify functional gaps, and provide technical updates.

* Coordinate with developers, QA teams, and business analysts during development, testing, defect fixing, and deployment activities.

* Troubleshoot Appian expression errors, interface issues, integration failures, API errors, data issues, and permission-related issues.
