We are looking for a Mechanical Service Engineer with experience in Gear Measuring Machines, Gear Inspection and Calibration.

Key Responsibilities
- Installation, commissioning, servicing and troubleshooting of Gear Measuring Machines and Instruments.
- Understand and interpret mechanical drawings, gear drawings, dimensions, tolerances and basic GD&T.;
- Positive knowledge of spur, helical, internal, external, bevel gears, worm gears and splines.
- Understand gear parameters such as module, pressure angle, helix angle, profile, lead, pitch, runout and backlash.
- Perform machine calibration, probe calibration and accuracy verification.
- Diagnose mechanical and measurement-related problems and identify root causes.
- Knowledge of precision measuring instruments and gear inspection/metrology.
- Understand measurement reports, profile/lead/pitch graphs and measurement results.
- Prepare service,



calibration and customer visit reports.
- Provide technical support and training to customers.
- Willingness to travel to customer locations for installation, service and calibration.

Experience in gear manufacturing, gear inspection, gear measuring machines, metrology, calibration or machine-tool service will be preferred.

Note: Practical knowledge of gears, gear measurement and calibration is highly preferred. Candidates with only general CNC maintenance experience may not be suitable.
